What kind of paint do you use for your live wedding paintings?

Professional-grade Acrylic Paints

Is the painting sealed/varnished?

I use an isolating coat, as well as a gloss varnish, which fully seals the painting.

Does the painting come with a hanging wire on the back?

Yes, there will be a secure hanging wire attached to the back of the painting.

How do I clean the painting?

A (lightly) damp washcloth will remove dust without damaging the painting.

Do you charge travel fees?

Events within 3 hours of Chattanooga, TN have no travel fee. The travel fee for weddings more than 3 hours drive outside of Chattanooga, TN will be calculated based on gas usage and local accommodation costs.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Venmo, Ca$happ (allows Credit Cards as payment), money order, check

Do I have to sign a model release?

I respect your privacy. If you would not like to be featured on my website and/or social media, my contract has the option to opt-out of the model release.

How long after the event until the painting is finished?

I give myself a deadline of six weeks from the event date to complete the painting.

Do you have insurance?

I do have general liability insurance! Proof of policy can be provided upon request.

How do you finish the outside edges of the canvas?

When I finish the portrait, I send the client a picture of the finished product to allow for suggestions of revisions. I then provide mockups of different color options for finishing the outside eges of the canvas. The client is able to choose one of the provided color options, or provide their own option for what solid color to paint the edges.
